GNSL 2026/27 Season: Constitution Confirmed & Reg Davis Cup draw published

Earlier this month saw the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League’s AGM, with the 2026/27 constitution and Reg Davis Cup draw confirmed for the new season.

The league was set for a massive reshuffle following a number of sides withdrawing throughout last season, with a number of sides set to be promoted and Longlevens’ Reserves on-going appeal which resulted in promotion to the County League.

All of Barnwood United, Hardwicke, Smiths Barometrics and Wickwar Wanderers have been promoted to a Division One formed of 15 teams following Longlevens’ appeal and Tredworth Tigers withdrawing from the league.

Division Two has seen a number of sides welcomed in or back into the league, with Blakeney, Huntley, Minchinhampton, Old Richians, Tewkesbury Town Reserves and Tuffley Rovers Reserves all promoted from the North Gloucestershire, Stroud & District and Cheltenham Leagues.

Due to the odd numbers, the Reg Davis Cup will have a Preliminary Round tie on Saturday 1 August, before the First Round taking place on Wednesday 5 August.

Once again the cup will be played throughout August, with the Semi Finals set for 5 September and the final TBC.
