13:20 Triumph Hurdle

1) Apolon De Charine (50/1)
2) Maestro Conti (5/1)
3) Minella Study (7/1)

Pulled up: Macho Man

Another shocking finish in the Triumph Hurdle as another big winner for Willie Mullins in what was a pretty frantic finish.

No one had the winner, shock! But there were 1 point for places for all of SPM27, Up The Swans, Can’t Bowl. Bat at No. 8, Top Trotters and Square Leg.

There were negatives though, with Macho Man pulling up, resulting in -2 points for PridayPower, Money Man Ash and The Fox.

14:00 County Hurdle

1) Wilful (14/1)
2) Sticktotheplan (25/1)
3) Joyeuse (12/1)
4) Cracking Rhapsody (50/1)

Three tipsters pick up points after a really competitive County Hurdle. Creosote claims a point for a place, whilst Absolutely Clueless and Can’t Bowl. Bat at No. 8 pick up 5 points each – 3 points for the win and 2 bonus points for the SP being over 10/1/

14:40 Mares Chase

1) Dinoblue (11/8 Fav)
2) Only By Night (11/1)
3) Panic Attack (11/4)

The replacement for the Fact To File withdrawal pays dividends for SPM27 who collect 6 points, whilst Creosote claims 2 points for the place on Panic Attack.

Top Trotters took a punt on Panic Attack and score 1 point for the place.

15:20 Albert Bartlett Handicap Hurdle

1) Johnnys Jury (20/1)
2) Fruit De Mer (28/1)
3) The Passing Wife (11/1)

Pulled up: Doctor Steinberg, Kazansky, Kings Bucks

Disaster for the bulk of the tipsters, with Doctor Steinberg emptying and pulling up, meaning -2 points for all of Sweet Prince, The Fox, SPM27, Money Man Ash, Up The Swans, The Oracle, Absolutely Clueless and Creosote.

There is double disaster for Square Leg and Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 who score -4 points for having two pulled up horses.

Top Trotters had a place, but also the favourite, so scored -1 point.

So based on the above results, the league came down to two.

Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 who picked Gaelic Warrior in the big race, whilst Absolutely Clueless need Jango Baie in order to set this up for a barnstorming finish.

16:00 Gold Cup

1) Gaelic Warrior (11/4)
2) Jango Baie (11/4)
3) Inothewayurthinkin (11/1)

Pulled Up: Haiti Couleurs

And Gaelic Warrior delivers! Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8, The Oracle, Square Leg and Creosote score 6 points for the winner, whilst Top Trotters score a smashing 12 points as Gaelic Warrior was their antepost tip as well!

Up The Swans and Absolutely Clueless pick up 2 points for having the second placed horse, whilst unluckily Sweet Prince and SPM27 score -2 points after Haiti Couleurs emptied on the run in.

Only one race to affect the placings and one final punt for Absolutely Clueless and Creosote…

16:40 Hunters Chase

1) Barton Snow (9/2)
2) It’s On The Line (7/2)
3) Music Drive (33/1)

What a winner for Absolutely Clueless who claim 4 points for the winner, whilst Creosote had the second, so scores 1 point.

Here is how the all important final table looks:

Congratulations to Tom Deakin and Jake Parrott, most commonly known as Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 who win the league for the second time and in style.

Last season’s winners Top Trotters, had a huge finish to pip the pack to second place, with Absolutely Clueless just slightly behind – but much improved on their other efforts.

The Oracle, Square Leg and Up The Swans were consistent all week but just couldn’t make their boosts count in the end, whilst Creosote got his act together in the end to finish 7th on debut.

SPM27, Pint Please Landlord and Money Man Ash will be disappointed that they have fallen away as the week wore on, whilst Sweet Prince, PridayPower and The Fox had terrible weeks throughout!

A massive thank you to everyone who took part in the 2026 Tipster League – see you again next yeae!!
