Severn Sport Tipster League 2026 – Day 2 Results
The Severn Sport Tipster League is back for the ninth year and once again we have a whole host of hungry tipsters searching for the crown!
Once again this year we have a league of 13 tipster teams battling it out for the title of King Tipster. Their antepost tips are placed, the daily races have been decided and tips have been picked.
Today’s selected races are as follows:

13:20 – Turners Novices’ Hurdle

Pulled up: No Drama This End
There is a huge sense of irony that after a great day for our tipsters yesterday, the first bit of drama of the league sees fancied favourite No Drama This End run a terrible race and pull up before the last. Disaster for the majority of tipsters.
-2 points for all of The Fox, SPM27, The Oracle, Money Man Ash, Up the Swans, Top Trotters, Pint Please Landlord, Creosote and PridayPower, with -1 point for Square Leg who had a place.
The big winners of the race were Sweet Prince and Absolutely Clueless who scored 0 and 1 point respectively, whilst Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 scored -4 points as they picked the favourite in the race and had it as their antepost tip, so suffer twice.
14:00 – Browns Advisory

The only interest on this is that Absolutely Clueless had Koktail Divin as their antepost tip and after looking good until two out, he faded away and finished in the pack. 0 points.
14:40 – BetMGM Cup

Faller: The Yellow Clay
Now it is heating up!
3 points for all of Up The Swans, Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 and Square Leg for picking the winner, whilst Creosote, The Oracle and The Fox picked up 1 point each for having a place.
Pint Please Landlord the only other tipsters to score any points, but they scored -2 points for having the faller.

16:00 – Queen Mother Champion Chase

Disaster for Up the Swans, The Oracle and Pint Please Landlord as their “Have A Punt” boost results in -2 points each – with Up The Swans and PridayPower also seeing their Antepost Tip return nothing at all.
16:40 – Grand Annual
1) Martator (66/1)
2) Jazzy Matty (8/1)
3) Break My Soul (20/1)
4) Release The Beast (10/1)
Faller: Inthepocket
Pulled up: Jour D’Evasion
Incredible drama to conclude the day for the daily picks as Jazzy Matty is beaten on the line by a 66/1 outsider. Typical.
No winners in the league, but four tipsters picked up 1 point for a place an they were Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8, Top Trotters, The Oracle and Absolutely Clueless.
Outside of that, all of Creostoe, PridayPower, Square Leg and SPM27 scored -2 points for having either the faller or the pulled up horse.
For the others, coming away unscathed is a plus!

The Champion Bumper also had interest as Money Man Ash‘s antepost tip It’s Only a game and it faded slightly on the turn and finished in midfield. 0 points
Here is how the table looks after day two:
Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 are the lone leaders after day two, with Pint Please Landlord being sucked into the chasing pack after a poor day.
It is clicking this year for Absolutely Clueless who did end last year’s league quite well, whilst The Oracle, Square Leg and Up The Swans are looking alright for a big finish at the half way stage.
Sweet Prince, Top Trotters and Money Man Ash will need a really good day three to get in amongst it, whilst Creosote and SPM27 have been hindered by fallers/pulled up horses.
PridayPower and The Fox are propping up the table.
