Some of last season’s winners included then Hartpury duo Riley McGregor and Ben Baxter, Longlevens U18s trio Sam Kelly, Toby Boakes and Henry Driver-Dickerson – plus Phil Chovanec became the first goalkeeper to win the award.
This season’s winners have been Tuffley Rovers’ Callum McGuirk, Gloucester City U18s’ Lewis Vye, Slimbridge defender Ryan Ponting, Gloucester City duo Kane Simpson and Elis Watts, Cirencester Town striker Harlie Price and Gloucester City Women’s Maggie Neall.
Longlevens & U18s forward Theo Bevan scooped the award for March.
So let’s check out this month’s shortlist

Jess Brown (Cheltenham Civil Service Ladies) – Jess Brown is so good to watch. A winger who loves to take her marker on, is very direct and has consistent end product – what’s not to love! Brown sets a very high standard and is unsurprisingly the top scorer in GCWFL Division Two.
Theo Browne (Slimbridge U18s) – Browne was unlucky to not win the Player of the Month award for March, but he has done his chances to be in the running for April with a dominating display against Longlevens to win the league title for his side. It is very, very easy to be impressed with how well he has played lately and next season could be a big one for him.
Theo Bevan (Longlevens, Reserves & U18s) – March’s Player of the Month continues to operate at a high level, producing goals for Longlevens’ First Team, Reserves and U18s sides. He is one to watch now and next season for sure. Bevan can score all sorts of goals and is a constant threat all over the park.
Check out social media during May and check back next month as we hope to start the year with some exciting football.
