Luke Merchant (Tuffley Rovers) – Merch put in an incredible performance in the win over Pershore Town. In a month that saw Severn Sport see a number of fine goalkeeping performances, his topped them all. He is the best goalkeeper in the Hellenic Prem right now and is back to his form in Cleeve’s title winning campaign.

Claire Gabb (Gloucester City Women Reserves) – Gabb has been stunning this month. Three wins in the month in front of Severn Sport and they different performances from her. Two clean sheets, two games that saw her able to bring the ball forward and help build the play and a game where she had to dig in deep and be an example to her teammates against Southmead. Versatile, yet effective.

Jack Smith (Slimbridge) – I was told that Jack Smith turned down a move to Roman Glass this month and I am glad to hear it! Local football is better with players like Smith in it and he is proving to be a massive asset for Slimbridge, as they look to try and make the Hellenic Prem play-offs this season. A bright, bright future ahead of him.

The Severn Sport Player of the Month will be back next month – so check out our social media throughout the month to find out who won this month’s trophy!
