As seasons come to an end, cup finals season kicks in with a flurry of silverware up for grabs over the next few weeks for our Gloucestershire sides.

I will be looking at three finals taking place this week as Monday sees the U18s County Cup Final take place whilst a Tuesday double header of the Fred Gardiner Memorial Shield and Senior Amateur Cup round off an exciting two days.

Bishops Cleeve u18s v Dursley Town u18s (Monday April 28th, Oaklands Park, kick off 7:00pm)

An exciting cup final awaits at Oaklands Park on Monday when the top two of the Cheltenham Youth Floodlit League South, Bishops Cleeve and Dursley Town fight it out for the U18s County Cup.

Slimbridge u18s sit as the holders of the competition after they defeated Hallen u18s last season.

Dursley will be looking to grab a league and cup double after securing the CYFL South title at the beginning of April.

Cleeve will be hoping to secure their first piece of silverware for the season after missing out on the title by six points.

This will be the third of four meetings between the sides this season as they meet again in the league play-off final in May.

Dursley won the last meeting 4-2 whilst Cleeve came out on top on the opening game of the season, coming away 5-4 winners.

Bromley Heath United v Frampton United (Tuesday April 29th, Oaklands Park, kick off 7:30pm)

Frampton may still be in with a chance of the Gloucestershire County League title but could pick up their first piece of silverware of the season when they face Bromley Heath United in the Senior Amateur Cup on Tuesday night.

Frampton sit second in the County League, five points off the top with two games to play but have also been an impressive team to watch in the competition this season.

21 goals in five games during their run to the final has seen Frampton as one of the highest scorers in the competition this season.

Frampton could be looking to call upon top scorer, Henry Driver-Dickinson who has netted 18 goals 29 games this season for Frampton.

Gloster Rovers v Longlevens 5ths (Tuesday April 29th, Thornhill Park, kick off 7:30pm)

To round off a busy 24 hours of cup final action, Stroud & District League Division Four North sides Gloster Rovers and Longlevens 5ths battle it out for the Fred Gardiner Memorial Shield.

Longlevens will be looking to complete the league and cup double after securing top spot by a single point in the north section.

Gloster Rovers will be hoping to add a little bit of shine to their disappointing season after they finished their campaign ninth and a place over the drop zone.

Levens will be the favourites heading into this one having conceded just two goals in three games whilst scoring 14.

Rovers have caused a few upsets along the way most notably defeating play-off side, Tetbury Town Reserves in the semi-finals 2-1.
