Speaking about the latest nominees to come completely from the public nominations, Butler had this to say:
“Tuffley had a great season and it is partly down to some great recruitment. The rest is down to creating an environment where players play for each other and the togetherness was there to see.
Karnell won Player of the Month during the season and the nominations flew in for him, so it is no surprise that he is up for two awards from public nominations, alongside the Live Player of the Season category.
Callum is a lovely guy and having known him for a few years now, it has been great to see him develop and establish himself as an effective Hellenic Premier player. He has played a key role for Tuffley during the whole season and has laid down a marker for next term.
Muzzy has had a great influence on the team and even comparing this season’s side to last, you can see the players have fully bought into what he is looking to build.
As I said about Callum, for Tuffley as a whole, they have laid down a marker to build on next season!”
Check back tomorrow morning when we will be announcing the next batch of nominees in this year’s End of Season Awards!
