Speaking about the latest nominees to come completely from the public nominations, Butler had this to say:
“Georgina reverted back to a keeper after a season outfield for Dursley last season and has made the most appearances of any player for her side, keeping five clean sheets along the way.
A very sold season for her and for Dursley as a whole, to be honest, so I wasn’t surprised to see her receive a number of nominations.
Natasha also had a great season. Like Macey, she made the most appearances for her side this season and has also been crucial for her side securing a mid-table finish in the SWWFL Northern Division.
Leonie has absolutely run away with the golden boot in GCWFL Division One this season, scoring 33 in 19 with a game to go and leads a list of very good attacking players in that division.
Leah ended the season with 16 goals in 19 games, a record that most forwards could only dream of. It has been a tough second season for Saracens, but thanks to the likes of Rhodes they will feel confident going into next season.“
Check back tomorrow morning when we will be announcing the next batch of nominees in this year’s End of Season Awards!
