The line up for the 2025/26 Cheltenham Youth Floodlit League season has been confirmed, with 19 teams set to compete next term.

19 teams will make up the league, with the likes of Cirencester Town, Worcester City, Westfields and Quedgeley Wanderers joining the league and Hereford Pegasus entering two sides.

What we don’t know yet, is whether the CYFL will be split into a North and South division like this season, with the clubs set to vote on the final format at the start of season AGM.

One thing that is known, is that Severn Sport will once again be sponsoring the league cup for the 2025/26 season!

Cheltenham Saracens lifted the first renewal of the Severn Sport Cup at the start of May and will be joined by the rest of the league next season as they bid to retain their crown.

Similar to the league format, clubs will vote on whether it will be a straight knock-out cup like this season, or whether to introduce a group stage due to the amount of teams in the league.

Severn Sport will be the place to be for all things relating to the Severn Sport Cup – with the draws (whether knock-out or group stage) live on our Buttee’s For Breakfast Saturday morning show.

The Cheltenham Youth Football League will continue to announce any news or changes ahead of the 2025/26 season.
