Severn Sport to partner with Iron Acton Women for 2025/26 season

Severn Sport are delighted to announce our first sponsorship for the 2025/26 season, partnering with newly formed Iron Acton Women.
Next season will be the first season in Iron Acton’s 130 year history where they will have a women’s side, with the club looking landmark such an important moment in their history.
In the first sponsorship of next season, Severn Sport’s logo will appear on both the side’s matchday posts on social media and on their shirt sleeves during the season.
Speaking about the partnership on Iron Acton Women’s social media, Eveleigh said:
“This collaboration will enable Iron Acton Women to benefit from Severn Sport’s extensive reach and expertise in sports media.
Together, we aim to inspire more women and girls to participate in football, celebrate their achievements, and foster a supportive community for female athletes.
The tireless work that Ryan does at Severn Sport is often under appreciated. The man never stops!
Ryan is a big reason for the rise in exposure of Women’s football in the South West and I was really keen to partner with him to give something back.
We are very proud to be carrying the Severn Sport logo on our match day shirts from next season and look forward to working alongside each other to inspire more women and girls to participate in football.”

Butler also gave his thoughts on the first sponsorship for next season:
“During my time covering Women’s football in the area, there have been a number of new teams formed and what I try to do is help promote them as much as possible.
Knowing that James is involved means that the club are definitely going to be looking to make an impact and play a good brand of football.
After speaking to James on the Breakfast show, it was evident that the club as a whole will benefit from having a women’s side. I am honourer to be part of their first ever season and a part of history for the club.”
