Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League 2025/26 constitution confirmed – Four divisions, 40+ teams and new sides

On Monday night, the Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League held their AGM and their proposed constitution for the 2025/26 seasons sees new teams join the league.
Iron Acton Women and Hartpury University are new sides in Division One, with SGS Olveston United Women relegated from the SWWFL and Southmead CS Ladies promoted from Division Two following Gloucester City Women Reserves gaining a double promotion out of the league.
Whilst Division One will house 11 sides, Division Two will have 10 sides – including promotions for all of Cinderford Town Ladies, Ellwood Ladies and Stoke Lane Athletic Women and Cheltenham Civil Service Ladies, who have been relegated from Division One.
Division Three sees another newcomer in AEK Boco Ladies Development, who join the league after their debut campaign last season.
Alongside Boco Devs as newcomers to the division are promoted duo Andoversford Women and Cheltenham Spa Women after fantastic 2024/25 campaigns in Division Four, as well as Bristol Ladies Union, who drop down from Division Two.
