Adobe Women's FA Cup early round draws - City to head to Sarries, Ciren to host Cleeve and more

The early round draws for the Adobe Women’s FA Cup have served up a number of all-Gloucestershire ties – including Cheltenham Saracens vs Gloucester City and Cirencester Town vs Bishops Cleeve.

With the cup set to start in September, the first two qualifying rounds have been drawn, with our side’s starting their seasons with the First Qualifying Round on Sunday 1 September.

The winner of Cheltenham Saracens vs Gloucester City will be at home in the Second Qualifying Round, welcoming Stockwood Wanderers, whilst the winner of Cirencester vs Cleeve will head to the winner of Frome Town vs FC Chippenham.

Elsewhere in the First Qualifying Round, Cheltenham Civil Service Ladies will head to Bristol & West, with the winners heading to Downend Flyers, whilst fellow Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League side Mangotsfield United host Hereford Pegasus.

South West Regional League side Bitton head to Bath City with the winners heading to Mangotsfield or Hereford Pegasus in the next round, whilst SGS Olveston United host Yeovil Town and Paulton Rovers host Weston-super-Mare.

If Olveston United win their tie, then they will play host to Pucklechurch Sports in a tough Second Qualifying Round, whilst the winner of Paulton Rovers vs Weston, will head to AEK Boco Ladies – who received a bye after being promoted into the SWWFL Premier Division.

Fellow SWWFL Premier Division sides Frampton Rangers and Forest Green Rovers have been drawn against each other, whilst Longlevens, who are back in the Cup following their promotion to GCWFL Division One, will head to the winner of Hereford vs Corsham Town, in the Second Qualifying Round on Sunday 22 September.

Sides will win £1,800 for winning the First Qualifying Round ties, whilst the winners in the Second Qualifying Round ties will secure a further £3,000 in prize money.
