2025/26 Women’s Allocations: Gloucester City into SWWFL Premier whilst Reserves earn double promotion

Gloucester City Women have received exciting promotion news in the 2025/26 Women’s football allocations – with both sides moving up the pyramid.
Their first team have been promoted into the SWWFL Premier Division as expected, following their title winning unbeaten league campaign.
But the exciting news comes with their Reserve side making the leap from GCWFL Division Two to the SWWFL Division One North – the division their First Team won this season.
City’s first team will be joined in the Premier Division by Saltash United, who are also promoted into the division.
Stand out opponents for next season include AEK Boco Ladies, Frampton Rangers, Forest Green Rovers Women and Pucklechurch Sports Ladies.
For the Reserve team, they join GCWFL Division One top two, Whitchurch Ladies and Mangotsfield United Women in being promoted into the SWWFL, alongside AFC Brislington.

Elsewhere in the allocations, Cheltenham Town remain in tier 3 and the National League Southern Premier Division, whilst Bristol Rovers are in tier 4 in Division One South West.

The allocations are subject to appeal and will be finalised in due course.
