LISTEN: Gloucester City Women complete double with Women’s Trophy win over Frampton
Gloucester City Women completed a league and County Cup double, with a 2-0 win over Frampton Rangers on Thursday night.
Emine Akkurt’s first half effort was added to by Lucabella Davis’ second half penalty to see Chris Hill’s side clinch the GFA Women’s Trophy.
The cup win comes after they secured the SWWFL Division One North title and know that if they were to avoid defeat in their final league game next month, they will complete the league season undefeated.
