Severn Sport Tipster League 2025 – Day 3 Results

The Severn Sport Tipster League is back and this year it is BIGGER and BETTER than ever before.

For the eighth year in a row, we have had 10 competitors going head-to-head in a bid to be crowned Severn Sport’s King Tipster(s) for the next 12 months.

This year, we have a league of 13 – with returning tipsters and new teams joining the league.

Today’s selected races were as follows:

Mares Novices Hurdle – 13:20

1. Air of Entitlement

Two tipsters having different luck with their Have A Punt boost. Square Leg saw his finish out of the frame so scored -2 points, whilst Top Trotters become the first team to get any points from their punt, collecting 1 point for having 2nd place.

Jack Richards Novices Handicap Chase – 14:00

Fallers: Springwell Bay
Pulled Up: Moon D’orange, What’s Up Darling

A mixed bag for the tipsters. The Fox, SPM27, Bacon, Hellenic Double Chanps, Pint Please Landlord and Square Leg all collect -2 points for the faller or pulled up selection.

Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8 had a faller and a pulled up horse so scored -4 points, whilst Sweet Prince and Mr Slimbridge AFC had the winner and a faller, so scored 1 point each.

Priday was the big winner, scoring 3 points for the winner.

Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle – 14:40

Pulled up: Bugise Seagull, Harbour Lake, Guard The Moon, Zain Nights

Wow. What a run from Doddiethegreat! A superb big priced winner, that was tipped by three of our tipsters!

Money Man Ash and Pint Please Landlord score 8 points each after earning the 5 bonus points for a 20+/1 SP, whilst Sweet Prince had the forecast so scores 10 points all in.

Hellenic Double Champs and Bacon scored 1 point each for a place, whilst Square Leg continues his horrible day alongside Absolutely Clueless and The Fox who all had a pulled up selection, so scored -2 points.

Ryanair Chase – 15:20

Pulled up: Jungle Boogie

What a confident and competent run from Fact to File – one of the best favourites of the week.

All of Sweet Prince, SPM27, Money Man Ash, Mr Slimbridge AFC, Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8, Top Trotters, Square Leg and Priday all collected 3 points, whilst Pint Please Landlord had the winner and pulled up horse so collect 1 point as did The Fox after a place.

Stayers Hurdle – 16:00

1. Bob Olinger
2. Teahupoo
3. The Wallpark

We were interested in the Stayers Hurdle as Hellenic Double Champs had their antepost tip in Home By The Lee running.

Unfortunately, he was brought down by a faller, meaning they scored -2 points. Ouch!

So let’s see how the table looks after Day Three:

We have new leaders in Top Trotters, who continue to impress. Sweet Prince and Money Man Ash have risen to the top three after a superb round of tipping in the Pertemps.

Bacon had a quiet day that has seen him lose position, but he is still in touch – as are SPM27 who haven’t been totally done by falling foul of Editors Picks for missing the 9am deadline!

Pint Please Landlord and Mr Slimbridge AFC have the joint most winners with the leaders but have been done by minus points, as has Can’t Bowl. Bat at No.8, whilst Hellenic Double Champs’ final attempt to gate crash the leaders was literally brought down.

The Fox, Square Leg, Priday and Absolutely Clueless are realistically fighting to not finish bottom at this stage.
