Hands and Holmes amongst first batch of Slimbridge signings for 2021/22 season

Ben Hands and Jack Holmes were two of the thirteen players announced by Slimbridge as signing for the Swans ahead of the 2021/22 season.

The club released photos of all thirteen players signing their contracts for the campaign after an early Saturday morning training session at Thornhill Park.

Hands returns to the club after a spell at Cinderford Town last season, whilst Holmes joins the Swans after appearing for Brimscombe & Thrupp in the Hellenic League Challenge Cup in April and May.

The pair were joined by goalkeeper Lewis Adams, full backs Ben Deakin and Ben Prictor, midfielders Mike Ford and Myron Turner and forwards Jamie Martin and Will Hawes in signing for the new season.

Edji Mbunga returns to Wisloe Road having been with the club previously whilst Will Davidson and Ben Mclean also signed their contracts as well.

Cheltenham Town U18s defender Toby Lawrence has also signed up ahead of the Southern League season that kicks off away to Larkhall Athletic on Saturday 14th August.

Severn Sport will be seeing how the new-look Slimbridge get on in their next pre-season friendly when they head to the Meadow on Monday evening. Kick off 19:45
