VOTE: Severn Sport shortlisted in Football Content Awards 2024
Severn Sport are delighted to announce that we have once again been shortlisted in the Football Content Awards.
Incredibly, we have been shortlisted for the fifth year in a row – joining our good friends Football In Berkshire in being nominated for Best In Non-League – Editorial.
The 2024 ceremony takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in November and the category sees 11 nominees – which also includes Torquay Talk and Gloverscast.
We once again ask for your help in trying to make the final three on the night, so please vote online, on Twitter and on Instagram (instructions below) and share with our clubs, supporters and friends to make sure that Gloucestershire is represented in the awards.

Our man Ryan Butler gives his reaction to the news:
“Once again I find myself stunned that Severn Sport have been shortlisted for an award at the FCA’s and this time it is unexpected.
In December, we lost the website due to a virus and hacking on the site. So with the archive gone and the website needing to be started from scratch, I wrote off even trying to push for us to be nominated.
I submitted one nomination for Severn Sport, but didn’t put the usual post together to ask for you to nominate us on social media – and even with that throw away nomination, we have made the final 11. Nice!
For the fifth year in a row, I now ask everyone to vote for Severn Sport in the FCA’s with no real expectation of making the final 3, let alone winning the award.
As always, any votes and shares of support are much appreciated and mean a lot to myself and Sam – who has played a major role in another great start to the season for Severn Sport.
We all know that #WestIsBest and once again we have a chance to show that off!”
