Third County Cup added for Gloucestershire’s Women’s sides – Full draws published

The GFA have added a third County Cup for our Women’s sides from this season and the draws have been published on their website.

Alongside the Women’s Trophy, the GFA have reformatted the Women’s Challenge Cup into the Challenge Cup and the Senior Women’s Cup.

The latter of the three includes the most senior women’s sides in and round the county, playing in an initial group phase before a knockout section of the tournament.

The GFA announced the groups on social media on Wednesday, with AEK Boco Ladies, Bristol City and Forest Green Rovers in Group A and Bristol Rovers, Cheltenham Town and Pucklechurch Sports in Group B.

November will see the first round of matches, before games in January and February 2025 and based on the dates of the other cups, it appears the top two from each group will then face off in the Semi Finals.
