Southern League Fixtures: Gloucester start at Taunton; Cleeve & Cinderford both at home and Evesham head to Mousehole
Gloucester City will head to Taunton Town on the opening weekend of the 2024/25 Southern League season, whilst Bishops Cleeve & Cinderford Town both begin their campaigns at home.
City will be taking part in their first Southern League campaign in 15 years and will be starting life with a testing trip to Rich Luffman’s side on Saturday 10 August.
Bishops Cleeve welcome Bideford to Kayte Lane, whilst Cinderford Town will welcome Cribbs to the Causeway in their first game back in the Southern League.
Mike Cook’s side host Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday 13 August in their first home game of the campaign, before hosting Wimborne Town and an August Bank Holiday of Dorchester Town away and Merthyr Town at home to follow.
City’s Boxing Day game sees them host Stuart Fleetwood’s Swindon Supermarine side, before trips to Wimborne Town and Merthyr as they head into 2025, whilst the reversed fixture is the Tigers’ Easter Monday fixture.
In Division One South, Evesham United host Bishops Cleeve in the Boxing Day game, whilst Cinderford will head to Malvern Town.
Gloucester conclude their campaign the following weekend, when they welcome Gosport Borough to the TigerTurf Stadium.
On the final day of the season, Evesham will be at home to Bashley, whilst Cinderford head to Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Cleeve have a short trip to Cribbs.
