Severn Sport Trophy 2024 - All you need to know

This week sees the first ever Severn Sport Trophy take place, with four of Gloucestershire’s best Women’s sides set to compete.

We announced that Gloucester City would be the hosts for the tournament, but due to some late clashes at the TigerTurf Stadium, we have had to tweak the draw and locations for the Semi Finals.

So, here is how the Semi-Finals look:

Wednesday 7 August – Longlevens Ladies vs Cheltenham Civil Service Lades – at Gloucester City’s TigerTurf Stadium; 19:45 kick off

Thursday 8 August – Cirencester Town Ladies vs Gloucester City Women – at Cirencester Town’s Corinium Stadium; 19:30 kick off

Just like the Severn Sport Shield, there will be the two games in a day, finals day as well:

Sunday 11 August – Third Place Play-Off – 12:00 kick off

Sunday 11 August – Final – 15:30 kick off

The rules for the games are as same as the Severn Sport Shield: straight to penalties in the event of a draw in 90 minutes, all four sides can make unlimited substitutions and weather dependent, drinks breaks will be encouraged.

In addition, Severn Sport are pleased to confirm that admission prices are £3 adults, £1 concessions and U16s free – including the Sunday, where we offer two games of football for £3!

So come on down to the TigerTurf Stadium and Corinium Stadium next week to enjoy some great local football, where one team will be presented with the first ever Severn Sport Trophy, and one player will be presented with the new Player of The Tournament trophy, sponsored by Severn Sparks!
