The winner is presented with the award and an image of them receiving the POTM trophy is then shared on Severn Sport’s social media during the following month.
Some of last season’s winners included then Hartpury duo Riley McGregor and Ben Baxter, Longlevens U18s trio Sam Kelly, Toby Boakes and Henry Driver-Dickerson – plus Phil Chovanec became the first goalkeeper to win the award.
This season’s winners have been Tuffley Rovers’ Callum McGuirk and Gloucester City U18s’ Lewis Vye.
So let’s check out this month’s shortlist

Theo Bevan (Longlevens U18s) – The final scorer of an October stunner was Theo Bevan. He scored in the win against Studley and after bagging against Gloucester City U18s, he stepped onto the ball in the centre circle, taking a touch, before hitting a half-volley into the very top corner. It capped off a really impressive performance from him and the rest of the front four for Levens, who, really pressed and caused City problems all game long. Outstanding.
Sean Monday (Dursley Town) – Three centre backs make the team and the first is the Man of the Match from the Reg Davis Cup final. A defensive performance that saw him kick, clear and head everything and alongside the rest of the back four was a real catalyst for Dursley to lift the trophy.
Ryan Ponting (Slimbridge) – Similar to Monday, Ponting has produced a number of kick, clear and head everything performances and has cemented himself as a real asset at Thornhill Park. Ponting has also secured his second appearance in the Team of the Month this season.
