The shortlists for the Severn Sport End of Season Awards are here!

The judging panel have whittled down the list of nominees to six (with some categories having a final seven or eight due to the amount of points scored) and the finalists are locked in.

Yesterday we revealed the shortlists for Opposition Player and Kinetic Goalkeeping Goalkeeper of the Season.

Today our attentions turn to the Signing and Breakthrough Player of the Season categories, with sides throughout the pyramid represented.

Whitchurch Ladies’ Aimee Clark, Tewkesbury Town striker Jamie Goodwin, Mat Liddiard of Bishops Cleeve, Fairford Town winger Charlie Holliday and Gloucester City Women duo Sachi Kaneko-Grun and Ruby Johnson make the final six for Signing of the Season, after making impacts at their new club’s this season.

This season’s Breakthrough Player of the Season sees Longlevens U18s duo Sam Kelly and Toby Boakes shortlisted after appearing for the First and Reserves teams respectively, alongside Phil Chovanec who played for both Brockworth Albion and Gloucester City U18s, Joey Spill of Dursley Town U18s and Slimbridge pair Hadyn Evans and Kieran Winstone.

The judging panel will now select their winners of the awards, which will be announced on the live show on Saturday 7 June.
