Severn Sport End of Season Awards 2025 Shortlists: Opposition Player & Kinetic Goalkeeping Goalkeeper of the Season

The shortlists for the Severn Sport End of Season Awards are here!
The judging panel have whittled down the list of nominees to six (with some categories having a final seven or eight due to the amount of points scored) and the finalists are locked in.
Today our attentions turn to the Kinetic Goalkeeping Goalkeeper of the Season and first ever Opposition Player of the Season categories, with sides throughout the pyramid represented.
In the Opposition Player of the Season category, Pershore Town duo Harlie Price and Bailey Fuller and fellow Hellenic League man, Josh Davis of Highworth Town are joined by Merthyr Town pair Ricardo Rees and Tom Handley – as well as Malvern Town’s Jack Watts.
The six goalkeepers up for the Kinetic Goalkeeping Goalkeeper of the Season are Lewis Clayton of Bishops Cleeve, Sam Linteo of Gloucester City Women, Luke Merchant of Tuffley Rovers, Longlevens‘ Kane Winman, Hellenic League winner Stephen Sarkodie of Hartpury University and the first ever Goalkeeper to win the Severn Sport Player of the Month award, Brockworth Albion & Gloucester City U18s’ Phil Chovanec.

The judging panel will now select their winners of the awards, which will be announced on the live show on Saturday 7 June.
Come back tomorrow when we will be announcing the next two shortlists for the 2025 End of Season Awards!
