Plenty of away days in FA Vase & FA Trophy early round draws
The early rounds of the FA Vase & FA Trophy have served up plenty of away days for our sides, including trips to Falmouth Town, Devizes Town and Wokingham & Emmbrook.
In the Vase First Qualifying Round, Cirencester Town will head to Oldland Abbotonians – whilst Longlevens travel to fellow Hellenic Premier side Malmesbury Victoria and Cheltenham Saracens heading to Berkshire to play Wokingham & Emmbrook.
However, Newent Town, Tytherington Rocks, Brimscombe & Thrupp and Stonehouse Town will all be at home – with Cadbury Heath, Keynsham Town, Roman Glass St George and Corsham Town the respective visitors.
Slimbridge, Shortwood United, Tuffley Rovers, Fairford Town and Lydney Town all received byes into the Second Qualifying Round – but the draws are still as mouth-watering.
The Swans will head to Devizes Town, whilst Fairford will host the winner of Reading City vs Abingdon United.
There are potential all-Gloucestershire ties ahead of us, with Lydney Town waiting for Cirencester – should they beat Oldland Abbotonians.
Also, Shortwood United could host Newent, should the Daffs beat Cadbury Heath.
In the Trophy, all three of our sides received byes into the First Qualifying Round and all three have been drawn away, with Evesham heading to the winner of Cribbs vs Thatcham Town, Cleeve travelling to Willand Rovers and Cinderford given the luxury of a trip to Falmouth.
