LISTEN: AEK Boco Ladies show their class to beat Paulton Rovers in Adobe Women’s FA Cup

AEK Boco Ladies eased into the Third Qualifying Round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, beating Paulton Rovers 6-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Early goals from Sasha Ferris and Aimee Clark saw the visitors lead 2-0, before Meg Bloomer added a third and a second from Clark had Boco cruising at half time, 4-0.

But Paulton stuck to their task and were unlucky in the first 45, being able to create opportunities and openings on the break, without really testing Tash Hibbert in the Boco goal.

After the break, Bloomer curled in a beautiful fifth goal, with substitute Enya Wilkinson firing into the bottom corner to make it six!

The hosts would get their consolation in the end, with Alisha Stuart clipping one in from range after Hibbert’s clearance fell into her path.

But it will be Boco who take their place in the draw for October’s Third Qualifying Round.

Both sides are back in league action next weekend, with Boco hosting Poole Town Ladies in the South West Regional Premier Division and Paulton heading to Corsham Town Ladies in Division One.
