FA Vase & Trophy: El Glossico in the Vase with the winner hosting Slimbridge; Hartpury to host Didcot in Trophy
One of the most exciting days of the pre-season schedule is here – FA early draws day and this year the FA Vase has given an absolute gargantuan First Qualifying Round tie in Tuffley Rovers vs Longlevens.
“El Glossico” is the stand out tie in the First Qualifying Round, set for Saturday 23 August, with Brimscombe & Thrupp on the road to Avonmouth and Fairford Town set to host Almondsbury.
Elsewhere in the round, Shortwood United head to Chipping Sodbury Town, Ciren travel to Oldland Abbotonians Cheltenham Saracens are on the road to Wantage Town.
Both Cinderford Town and Newent Town are at home, with Royal Wootton Bassett Town and Bradford Town the respective visitors.
In the Second Qualifying Round, Slimbridge are waiting in the wings to visit the winner of Rovers vs Levens, whilst Stonehouse Town will face the winners of Calne Town vs Nailsea & Tickenham.
Lydney Town will also be at home in the Second Qualifying Round, as they host Eversley & California at Swan Road.
In the FA Trophy, both Bishops Cleeve and Hartpury received byes to the First Qualifying Round, with the Mitres on the road to Willand Rovers and the Acorns hosting Didcot Town on campus.
