One of the most exciting days of the pre-season schedule is here – FA early draws day and this year the FA Cup has served up a number of mouth-watering ties.

In the Extra Preliminary Round on Saturday 2 August, Longlevens will welcome rivals Fairford Town to Saw Mills, with Hartpury hosting Tuffley Rovers in the two stand out all-Gloucestershire fixtures.

The other eye-catching tie of the round sees Cirencester Town drawn at home to Reading City, who once again are drawn away to a Gloucestershire side in an early round of a FA competition.

Elsewhere, Cinderford Town will be at home to Amersham Town, whilst Forest rivals Lydney Town are also at home – to Royal Wootton Bassett Town, respectively. The two Forest of Dean sides would meet in the Preliminary Round if they were to both be victorious.

Slimbridge have a tough trip to Corsham to navigate, with a potential trip to either Portishead Town or Windsor & Eton in the Preliminary Round.

In the Prelim round, Bishops Cleeve join proceedings and will face the winner of Hallen vs Highworth Town away from home.
