FA Competitions 2025/26 season: Who enters when? Round Dates and more
The early round draws for the FA Cup, Vase, Trophy and Youth Cup are to be released on Friday 4 July, as the new season gets ever closer and this week, the FA have confirmed the sides entered into each competition.
This comes after the release of the round dates for the competitions last week and now we are all set for next week’s draw.
This season’s FA Cup starts on Saturday 2 August with the Extra Preliminary Round, before the Preliminary Round on Saturday 16 August.
The four qualifying rounds kick off with the First Qualifying Round on Saturday 30 August, before the Second Qualifying Round and Third Qualifying Round take place on 13 and 27 September, respectively.
Saturday 11 October is the date for the Fourth Qualifying Round, with the huge draw of the First Round proper on Saturday 1 November.
August will be a busy month for some of our sides, with the First Qualifying Round of the FA Vase taking place on Saturday 23 August, with the Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 20 September.
The First Round is Saturday 18 October and Second Round on Saturday 8 November, with the Third Round proper the final round of 2025, taking place on Saturday 6 December.
The FA Trophy also starts on Saturday 23 August with the Preliminary Round, with the First Qualifying Round on Saturday 6 September and Second Qualifying Round on Saturday 20 September.
October sees the Third Qualifying Round and First Round proper, on 4 and 25 October.
The Qualifying section of the FA Youth Cup sees the Preliminary Round the week commencing Monday 1 September, with the First Qualifying Round the week commencing Monday 15 September and Second Qualifying Round the week commencing Monday 29 September.
The Third and final Qualifying Round takes place the week of Monday 13 October.
