Cheltenham Youth Floodlit League decide on format for 2025/26 season

The Cheltenham Youth Floodlit League have decided their league format for the 2025/26 season.
In May, we confirmed that the league would consist of 20 teams for the new season, with the likes of Cirencester Town, Worcester City, Westfields and Quedgeley Wanderers joining the league and Hereford Pegasus entering two sides.
Last season saw the league split into a North & South Divisions and whilst this season sees the league once again split into two divisions, how it has been split is different this time around.
The league will now have a Premier Division and Division One, with each division consisting of 10 teams.
The Premier Division sees the top five from last season’s divisions (with Slimbridge replacing Shortwood United who withdrew from the league), whilst Division One consists of the rest of last season’s divisions and the new sides in the league for this season.

The league campaign begins the week commencing Monday 8 September, following the opening fixtures in the FA Youth Cup the week prior.
We can also confirm that the Severn Sport Cup is set to start the week commencing Monday 6 October, with the First Round draw set to take place on the coming weeks on the returning Saturday morning breakfast show, Buttee’s For Breakfast.
