2025/26 Allocations: Gloucester City joined by Evesham United, Cinderford back in Hellenic & Newent reprieve confirmed

The FA have released the provisional allocations of steps 2-6 for the 2025/26 season, with the Southern League and Hellenic League line ups revealed.
In the Southern League Premier South, Gloucester City are joined by Evesham United, following City’s play-off final defeat and Evesham’s play-off final win.
The division also includes Berkhamsted, Farnham Town, Uxbridge and former Tigers midfielder Darren Mullings’ side, Yate Town following their promotions.
Weymouth join the division after being relegated from the National League South.
In Division One South, Bishops Cleeve are joined by Hartpury University to ensure that two Gloucestershire based sides remain in the Division.
The Mitres and Acorns are joined by Brixham, Sporting Club Inkberrow and Portishead Town following their promotions and Frome Town, Winchester City and Swindon Supermarine following their respective relegations.

In the Hellenic Premier, Cinderford Town’s relegation has been confirmed with the Foresters joined in the division by Cribbs, who were also relegated from the Southern League and promoted duo, Droitwich Spa and Hallen.
The 20 strong line-up in the division includes seven Gloucestershire sides, following Brimscombe’s relegation to Division One.
The Lilywhites are joined in Hellenic One by Malmesbury Victoria and promoted trio, Alcester Town, Thame United Reserves and Woodford United.
As expected, due to the Hellenic League losing five teams throughout the season from Division One, all of Carterton, Newent Town and Wellington have received reprieves and will stay in step 6 as it stands.
Division One will start with 19 teams, including five Gloucestershire based sides.

The expectation is now that fixtures will start to come out in about a month’s time, to allow all and any appeals to be received and heard.
For the Hellenic League, the likely start date would be the week commencing 30th July, with the Hellenic Premier usually beginning in the midweek ahead of the Extra Preliminary Round ties that traditionally take place on the first weekend of August.
