WATCH: “The defeat hurts but the boys can take the positives” says Prior after FA Cup defeat

Brimscombe & Thrupp manager Sam Prior has said his side can take plenty of positives from their FA Cup defeat at the hands of Cinderford Town.

A late Zak Drew winner was enough to earn the Foresters a 2-1 win over local rivals Brimscombe & Thrupp at the Meadow and sees Cinderford make the First Qualifying Round draw on Monday.

Cinderford took the lead through Yesh Lomety’s looping effort from 25 yards before Dylan Morgan equalised for the hosts just before the break.

The impressive Drew grabbed a winner late on in the second half to send the Cinderford fans in attendance and players on the pitch into raptures.
