O’Sullivan looking forward to playing in front of Gloucester City fans after “exciting year” at the club

Gloucester City midfielder Tommy O’Sullivan says he is looking forward to playing in front of City fans after a season he has described as an “exciting year, even without the fans.”

Following the decision by the National League to null and void the 2020/21 season for their North and South divisions, it appears that Gloucester City’s first season back at Meadow Park has been cut short with the Tigers on top of the league table.

With no league games taking place the top of the North took on the top of the South in a training match against Dorking Wanderers at Meadow Park on Saturday, with City winning 2-1 in an entertaining contest and O’Sullivan playing the full 90 minutes.

After the session we spoke to O’Sullivan about the training game, maintaining intensity in training despite the uncertainty and also his first year with the Tigers.
