LISTEN AGAIN: Longlevens 2-0 Wokingham & Emmbrook – FA Vase Second Qualifying Round

In our featured game this weekend we saw Longlevens advance in the FA Vase, by beating Wokingham & Emmbrook 2-0 at Saw Mills.

Late goals from Brad Martin and Will Emery saw the hosts into the hat for the First Round Proper (due to be played on Saturday 31st October) after a competitive and physical encounter.

After the visitors had a number of balls into the Levens box in the first half, the best chance fell to Brad Martin who leapt onto a Dan Collier back pass but took too long with the one on one and hit straight at the keeper.

But in the end Martin would break the deadlock when he nipped in between the keeper Sean Woodward and Wokingham captain Liam Eagle to tap home, before Emery ensured the victory with a well taken finish in the final minutes.
