Gloucester City fan favourite Zack Kotwica has rejoined the club after signing a contract until the end of the 2019/20 season on a day that has seen the Tigers bring in four fresh faces to rejuvenate their squad.
Just 48 hours after Gloucester saw Mat Liddiard depart for Swindon Supermarine , new City manager Mike Cook and his staff have brought in Kotwica and former loanee Fabien Robert to boost their attacking options. Robert rejoins the Tigers on loan until the end of the season.
City have also brought in Plymouth Argyle Academy graduates Ryan Law and Harry Hodges on initial one month loan deals, with the option to extend. The full back pairing both signed professional contracts with Plymouth Argyle and Law has made his first debut – in a Checkatrade Trophy tie with Newport County.
With the four players coming into the squad, City have seen further departures with Isaac Pearce returning to Forest Green Rovers and Andre Wright has also left the club.
Kotwica, who played a pivotal role in the record breaking and history making 2016/17 National League North season, will look to bring his speed and skillful ability to a Gloucester City side in need of an injection of something special.
Fans took to Twitter to praise the new arrivals.
