James Rowe has been appointed Gloucester City’s new manager this evening.
The appointment comes three days after the club confirmed the departure of former manager Mike Cook and his management team, as the club look ahead to turning full time as early as next season.
The appointment has been confirmed in a tweet on the club’s social media, with a full press release expected this evening.

Gloucester City fans have taken to Twitter to welcome the new manager, with some still holding the right to reserve judgement due to the still unknown surrounding Cook’s weekend departure.

Rowe’s first game in charge of his new club will be City’s Third Qualifying Round FA Trophy tie at home to Bradford Park Avenue on Sunday 24th November, kick off at the Jubilee Stadium is 15:00
