Former Stonehouse duo take the lead of Bulldogs

Phil Orsborn and Ian Logan-Giles have joined Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division One side Cam Bulldogs, following their departure from Stonehouse Town last week.

The duo took over at Oldends Lane in the summer of 2019, but announced they would be leaving the club via social media last week to seek “a new project together”.

A statement on Wednesday evening from Cam Bulldogs said:

The club are pleased to announce that for the start of the 2020/2021 season Phil Orsborn and his assistant Ian Giles will be leading the 1st team. Both Phil and Ian bring a wealth of experience at GNSL and above which we hope can help push the club forward and back to the top end of GNSL 1.

Chairman Russ Workman is excited about this positive news and would like to wish both Phil and Ian every success whilst at the helm.

Russ also wanted to record his thanks to Ben Jagger for the job he has done for the last two season whilst in charge, get back to enjoying your Saturday afternoons between the sticks!!

In a brief post on social media on Wednesday evening, Orsborn said “Really looking forward to working with some quality young players and looking to strengthen and progress the club by bringing my team of Ian Giles who’s experience at semi pro level and UEFA B Coaching level and Alex [Giles De Brincat] my fully qualified Physio let’s see what happens.
