The Gloucestershire FA have released the names of the lucky players chosen for their U18s Representative team for the 2018/19 season.
Longlevens full back Logan Roach, Gloucester City U18s captain Fin Blythe & prolific Slimbridge U18s striker Adam Bloomfield are three recognisable names in the squad of 21 for the forthcoming season.
Roach, who has made the step up from U18s to mens football this season, will also play for his new side Longlevens as well as for Hartpury College. An attacking full back he first caught our eye during the Gloucester City U18s FA Youth Cup run that took them to the 1st Round proper, where they were beaten 2-1 by full time academy Oxford United.
Roach scored on the night and from there his performances were so impressive that he was included in our team of the season for last season.
In the current Gloucester City U18s set up remains Fin Blythe. After a decent first year as a squad player under Neil Mustoe & Ken Blackburn, Blythe has become one of the first names on the team sheet due to his ability and his experience.
Over the summer Slimbridge formed their U18s side and the side is spearheaded by Adam Bloomfield. The forward, who is already into double figures for the season is already being earmarked as a potential first team starter by the Swans as the club hold him in the highest regard.
Quick, agile and deadly in front of goal mean he is a great asset for the Gloucestershire FA Rep team for this season and he will guarantee goals.
