Fixture change in the FA Vase as game moves to Friday Night

Last weekend saw the First Qualifying Round of the FA Vase take place and ahead of next weekend’s Second Qualifying Round there has already been a fixture change.

Longlevens will take on Tuffley Rovers at Saw Mills after both Gloucester based sides were given byes into the Second Qualifying Round and will now face off on Friday 14th September (19:45 kick off).

The fixture was originally due to take place on Saturday 15th September but the clubs have agreed the change of date and the change will appear on the FA Vase fixtures page on TheFA.com after the First Qualifying Round replays in midweek.

The game will be the fourth meeting between the sides this season after previously meeting in the semi final of the Severn Sport Shield during pre-season and the league games at Glevum Park & Saw Mills, the latter of which takes place on Wednesday.

Elsewhere Brimscombe & Thrupp will be travelling to Eastington Sports after cruising past Ash United 5-1 at the weekend.

Bishops Cleeve were given a bye into the second round and will travel to Bitton AFC who won their game at Chippenham Park on Sunday.

Cheltenham Saracens of the Hellenic League Division One West also enter the competition at the Second Qualifying Round and they will host the side currently occupying 2nd place in the Hellenic Premier, Flackwell Heath.

The above ties are due to take place on Saturday 15th September (15:00 kick offs) but are also subject to change.
