Southern League clubs learn fixtures fate

Cinderford Town, Cirencester Town, Evesham United & Slimbridge have all learned their fates as the Southern League fixtures have gone live this lunchtime.

All four sides have found out the fixtures for the season and can now begin planning their paths for the season.

Cirencester Town narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season and Charlie Griffin’s men have been dealt a tough opening five games on their quest for the top 6 once more.

The Centurions open on Saturday 18th August with a trip to last year’s beaten play off semi finalists Bristol Manor Farm, before a midweek Gloucestershire derby against Cinderford Town on Tuesday 21st August.

A weekend trip to Highworth Town is followed up with a home game with Moneyfields and a trip to Blackfield & Langley on the 15th September.

On boxing day Cirencester host Highworth Town before a trip to Mangotsfield United. on New Years Day.

They conclude the season with three out of the last five games away from home, with trips to AFC Totton, Moneyfields & Melksham Town on the final day sandwiched with home games with Street & Mangotsfield United.

Cinderford kick off their campaign at The Causeway when they welcome Paulton Rovers on the opening day. After their trip to the Corinium they host Evesham United in a second local derby in a week. A trip to Yate Town is then followed up by a home game against Mangotsfield United on Saturday 15th September.

A trip to the Jubilee Stadium to take on Evesham is booked in for Boxing Day before they welcome Slimbridge to the Causeway on New Years Day.

Cinderford end their season with away trips to Fleet & Barnstaple Town before a home encounter with Yate Town. The season ends with  midweek trip to Thornhill Park to face Slimbridge before Winchester City visit the Foresters.

Evesham United travel to league newboys Melksham Town on the opening weekend before they welcome Mangotsfield United to the Jubilee in midweek. Their away trip to Cinderford Town comes next before a home game to kick off September, with Blackfield & Langley the visitors. AFC Totton is the destination for the fifth game of the season.

Evesham host Cinderford Town on Boxing Day and travel to Highworth Town on New Years Day for a testing festive period.

Their run in, as they look to go one better than last season’s play off final defeat sees Evesham start April with two home games as Barnstaple & Moneyfields make the trip before an away tie with Blackfield & Langley. Highworth Town are the final visitors to the Jubilee on 24th April before Evesham end the season away to Bideford.

Slimbridge will be hoping to replicate their brilliant start to last season when they travel to Blackfield & Langley on the opening day. Highworth Town are the first visitors to Thornhill Park during the midweek before a tough away trip to Bristol Manor Farm. Slimbridge then kick off September with two home games, with Bideford & Larkhall Athletic the visitors.

The Swans have a return game with Bristol Manor Farm to look forward to at Thornhill Park on Boxing Day before a trip across county to Cinderford Town on New Years Day.

Slimbridge host Cinderford Town in their final home game of the season before a trip to FA Vase holders Thatcham Town on the final day. Before that The Swans will host Moneyfields & Mangotsfield back to back to kick start April before a trip to Bideford.
