It has taken months of planning, endless hours of phone calls and several sleepless nights, but the first ever Severn Sport Shield is finally here, as Slimbridge take on Gloucester City this evening at Thornhill Park.
If you can’t make it tonight, we have you covered, as Ryan Butler and Kelsey De Maria bring you LIVE and full match commentary of the first semi-final clash.
The winner of tonight’s match will go on to Saturday’s final, where they will face the winner of Tuffley Rovers vs Longlevens, who play Thursday evening after their semi-final was rearranged due to England’s progress in the World Cup.
Admission is pay on the gate with turnstiles open from 18:00 – Adults £5, Concessions £3 and under 5’s free.
You can purchase a Tournament Ticket on the gate of either semi-final, which entitles you to entry for every game of the Severn Sport Shield at a discounted rate. Details here.
In addition, we will be collecting donations on behalf of Gloucestershire Nightstop – our official charity partner for the Severn Sport Shield – on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If you are able to, please give generously to one of the collection tins around the ground.
Listen live to commentary of tonight’s game below from 19:30 only on Severn Sport.
