Tournament ticket announced for Severn Sport Shield

Next week sees the start of the first ever Severn Sport Shield pre-season tournament and collectively Severn Sport and Slimbridge have put together a great “value for money” ticket scheme for you.

The general admission price has been set at £5 entry for adults £3 for concessions with under 5’s gaining free entry. That will be the admission price for all three days meaning entry on the Saturday gives you two games for the price of one!

However, we have a Tournament Ticket initiative put in place where if you attend either of the semi finals, instead of paying admission for just that game you can buy a ticket that gives you entry to both semi finals and the finals day at Thornhill Park.

The Tournament Ticket will be sold at £10 for adults and £6 for concessions, meaning if you purchased one on the Tuesday night you will see four games of football, working out at £2.50 per game. If you bought one on the Wednesday night you will see three games at £3.33 per game. Value!

Also, we can confirm the kick off times for the games which are as follows: (all games to be played at Slimbridge AFC’s Thornhill Park)

Tuesday 10th July – Slimbridge AFC vs Gloucester City – 7.45pm Kick Off

Wednesday 11th July* – Tuffley Rovers vs Longlevens AFC – 7.45pm Kick Off

Saturday 14th July – 3rd Place Play off – 12.30pm Kick Off

Saturday 14th July – Final – 3.30pm Kick Off

*If England reach the World Cup semi final to avoid clashing the game will be moved to Thursday 12th July*

A reminder that all games will be played under standard association rules with limited substitutions BUT, if any of the four games finishes level after 90 minutes then the game will go straight to penalties!

If you have any questions about the tournament then please get in touch with us on our social media pages.

Remember we are collecting donations on all three dates for our chosen charity for the week, Gloucestershire Nightstop. They are a fantastic charity so please give generously. There will be volunteers collecting donations during the games and a charity penalty shootout and raffle.
