Cheltenham band added to Severn Sport library after video release

Cheltenham based rock band Crying Wolf have been added to the Severn Sport music library ahead of the new football season.

They join fellow Gloucestershire based band Future Kings and Wiltshire based band Yves as we build up a music library of local music for our broadcasts throughout the campaign.

At the end of May we put a call out for unsigned musicians to get in touch if they wanted to be included and we are still looking to add to the three bands.

Having been recommended to us by a number of our followers on Twitter and Facebook, our man Ryan Butler went and saw Crying Wolf play live in a Battle of The Bands final at The Cotswold Inn in Cheltenham. Crying Wolf came away with top prize and deservedly so and you will now be able to hear them live on Severn Sport during the season.

Crying Wolf describe themselves as a melodic punk band and consist of four members. Wayne Short is an enthusiastic and passionate drummer and Robert Knight supplies the bass guitar. Guitarist Jacob Turner isn’t afraid to rock a solo or two whilst Ricky Brown leads the quartet on guitar and lead vocals.

The emotional and passionate punk songs Crying Wolf will be releasing on their E.P. in August are accompanied by catchy riffs and melodies meaning that when Crying Wolf are playing, the place is rocking.

You can find out more information about Crying Wolf ahead of their E.P. launch on August 3rd on their Facebook page by clicking here.

Last night the band released their first ever music video so check out Snow Cold Hands by Crying Wolf below.
