Gloucester City boss Marc Richards has added two faces to his squad for the remainder of the National League South season.
Former Hungerford and Cheltenham Town winger Jamal Lawrence has joined the Tigers on a deal until the end of the season.
In 2015 he was handed a two-and-a-half year deal by the Robins before being released by Gary Johnson.
After a short time at Hungerford, Lawrence has linked up with the Tigers to provide Richards with an additional attacking option after Ethan Moore was ruled out with a torn ACL and Rhys Kavanagh returned to Bristol Rovers.
Meanwhile, Noah Smerdon has been promoted to the first team from the Under 18s. The 17 year-old has impressed for Neil Mustoe’s side this season and has appeared for the first team in the GFA Senior Cup. He has also made the Severn Sport Team of the Month on three occasions.
Smerdon is in action for England Schools this evening, as they face Scottish Schools in the Centenary Shield, with the game set to be broadcast on FreeSports.
