Gloucester City will be without Rhys Kavanagh for the remainder of the season, as he has returned to parent club Bristol Rovers.
Kavanagh joined the Tigers on loan in January and has been impressive for Marc Richards side, despite failing to find the back of the net during his spell.
The striker saw his loan spell extended with City for a further month in February, with the Welsh youngster enjoying a good run of performances at the Tigers.
Kavanagh featured in Bristol Rovers’ Tuesday afternoon Development Squad fixture with Forest Green Rovers, which was won 7-0 by the Gas.
However, with his extension now coming to an end, the Tigers have not been able to sign the striker for a further month, leaving Marc Richards with just Joe Parker and Harry Williams as out-and-out striking options.
With the deadline for signing players approaching, it remains to be seen whether or not Marc Richards will move to add another striker to the ranks, with Ethan Moore out with a suspected torn ACL.
