Former Cheltenham Town front man Harry Williams has re-joined Gloucester City on loan until the end of the season.
Williams has had two spells with the Tigers in previous seasons, scoring seven times in 16 appearances for the club.
The Sacramento Republic striker becomes the second striker in a week to join the Tigers, with Bristol Rovers forward Rhys Kavanagh joining the club last week.
Severn Sport understands that Williams has been training with the club for several weeks now and the Tigers have fended off interest from Football League clubs to land their man.
A statement from Marc Richards on the club’s website read
“It’s great that we’ve been able to bring Harry in as he gives us greater strength in depth and will add to our attacking options. He’s come in to help us out at a key stage in our season. We know he can play at a higher level and hopefully with the chances we’ve been creating, he can come in, score some goals for us and once again enable him to kick on in his career. We are hoping to have him in the squad for Saturday but we are waiting on his international clearance”.
Gloucester City welcome Poole Town to the Jubilee Stadium this weekend, weather permitting.
