Tom Webb wins West Sports Personality of the Year

Gloucester City’s Tom Webb has been crowned the inaugural Severn Sport West Sports Personality of the Year.

Webb, 32, finished first with 25% of the vote, ahead of Akeem Ennis-Brown (19%) and Iestyn Rees (18%).

The Tigers midfielder has just surpassed a monumental milestone: his 700th appearance for Gloucester City. Webb is often described as a legend, but there really are no superlatives to put into context the magnitude of what he has achieved at Gloucester.

Despite an uncertain period at the club recently, Webb has remained and will no doubt continue to proudly represent his city until he goes out on his terms.

Severn Sport would like to congratulate all of our nominees for making the shortlist and thank all those who voted.
