Its that most wonderful time of the year, the new football season is back THIS WEEKEND, and that means Severn Sport LIVE is back on Saturday bringing you the ultimate coverage of sport in the west.

Saturday sees us embarking on our fifth season covering Gloucester City AFC home games with full live match commentaries and to celebrate and get you ready for Saturday’s first live commentary of the season, as Gloucester City host Vanarama National League North new boys FC United Of Manchester, we are looking back at the past five seasons and picking the best goals, funniest moments and Severn Sport commentator Ryan Butler gives us his best and worst games he has covered for Severn Sport.

We’ve listened back to some of the best goal commentaries and some strange moments in the Severn Sport commentary box, but now we are letting our commentator, Ryan Butler give us his top three worst games he has commentated on over the past four years.

3) Bradford Park Avenue 3-1 Gloucester City (2/11/13)

Bradford park avenue away. Down Sutcliffe lane and opposite a cemetery. Running track. Terrible weather. Terrible game. Horrible place to go.

2) Gloucester City 0-1 Chelmsford (1/11/11)

Chelmsford in the FA cup replay. A horrible bitterly cold Tuesday night that was 85 minutes of rubbish then he infamous Cliff Akurang popped up with a nice little winner to save us all from another half an hour. What a hero. What made it worse was the 90 minutes we had to endure the week before…

1) Histon 1-2 Gloucester City (25/08/12)

Histon away. Lost 2-1 still the worst game I’ve ever seen. I’m sure we had 5 minutes of throw in, cleared into the trees and repeat. 0-0 till the 87th minute. Then two pens and an Edwards winner. Terrible game and terrible weather when we were caught in the rain.

Join us on Saturday from 14:30 as we start our fifth season covering Gloucester City live with full match commentary on Gloucester City vs FC United Of Manchester in the Vanarama National League North plus we’ll have live updates from the other games involving local sides including Cheltenham’s visit to Lincoln and Forest Greens opening day trip to Altrincham.
