CHELTENHAM Saracens’ improved form took a blow as a late goal condemned them to a 2-1 defeat at Bracknell Town in the Hellenic League Premier Division.
Saracens controlled the first half of the match, but were unable to score against a well-organised defence.
Bracknell took the lead after 60 minutes when the Saracens midfield lost possession and the home side broke down the wing. From the cross Jake White scored from close range.
Saracens equalised when Jordan Bryan scored his third goal in two matches. He collected a ball on the edge of the penalty area to shoot into the top corner.
But just as it appeared Saracens would head home with a point, White was on hand in the 81st minute to secure all three points for Bracknell.
Saracens are on the road again tomorrow when they head to Abingdon United.
